Metro Taxi Trial Update: Court rules City of Ottawa negligent in taxi class action

The Court has rendered its decision on the matter of Metro Taxi Ltd. et al. v. City of Ottawa, and found that the City of Ottawa was negligent in enforcing its taxi by-law after Uber began operating illegally in 2014. The plaintiff class in this matter was represented by Conway lawyers Tom Conway, Marion Sandilands, Abdalla Barqawi and Joseph Rucci. A copy of this decision can found here.
