Nana Yaa Nartey
Bio
Nana is a trained legal professional from Ghana and a member of the Ghana Bar Association. She worked as a lawyer in a general practice litigation firm in Ghana. She obtained her LL.M degree from McGill University in 2022 and her Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation in 2024. She is currently enrolled in the Law Society of Ontario’s French Law Practice Program (Programme de pratique du droit) under the University of Ottawa. Prior to branching into law, she worked in diverse roles in administration and human resources in Ghana.
Nana is passionate about acquiring legal knowledge and using that knowledge to advocate for others. She is interested in administrative and commercial law, and international investment law.
When she is not at work, Nana enjoys listening to classical music while fantasizing about learning to play the violin, reading, testing out her DIY skills and spending time with her family.
