Bio

Emma is developing a broad litigation practice. Prior to joining Conway, Emma completed clerkships at the Supreme Court of Canada in the chambers of Justice Mahmud Jamal, and at the Federal Court of Appeal in the chambers of Justice Judith Woods. Before clerking, Emma completed her articles at a leading litigation firm in Toronto. Most recently, she completed an LL.M. at the University of Cambridge as a Right Honourable Paul Martin Sr. Scholar.

Emma studied philosophy and law at Western University. While at Western Law, Emma received several academic awards, including course prizes in constitutional law, tort law, administrative law, and civil procedure. Upon graduation, she was awarded the A.T. Little Scholarship and Gold Medal in Law.

Away from the office, Emma enjoys spending time outdoors any way she can, invariably in the company of family, friends, or her dog, Wally.
